Arbitration and international litigation

REMÉ regularly represents clients before national and international arbitration, mainly disputes in the core areas of maritime law, shipping, insurance and transport law, as well as disputes in the general commercial law.

Several partners are regularly named as arbitrators (Ad Hoc Arbitration Boards, DIS, GMAA, ICC, Warenverein).

Litigation in international disputes covers ordinary court proceedings, arrest procedures (in particular ship arrests), interim injunction proceedings, procedures for the recognition and enforceability of foreign judgments and arbitration awards, as well as advice on the execution of German court decisions abroad.
